#14: Religion is stupid & I am not sorry

Episode description:

Has there been anything that has conditioned people to act a certain approved way more than religion? Religion, essentially, is placing your trust in other people and structures to tell you what to think and how to relate to the world so that you don’t have to do that yourself. It lets people identify with something and feel good about themselves – the “good person” narrative.

Here I talk about my own history with religion, how religions capitalize on people’s awakenings, and how they are used for political gain. The deepest part of you knows the truth and you can frame that in any number of ways to not have to take responsibility for it. But really it is you creating your life. You are life experiencing itself.

I also talk about awakening and patterns quite a bit.
